NSA Introduces Six-Week Basic Military Orientation for National Service Personnel





The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the implementation of a six-week Basic Military Orientation programme, scheduled to begin on 31st August 2025. The orientation will involve 10,000 National Service personnel across the country.




This was disclosed by Opare Addo, during a media briefing on 4th August 2025. The orientation is designed to instill discipline, patriotism, leadership skills, and a sense of national responsibility among service personnel.

The programme marks a significant addition to the National Service experience, aiming to better equip graduates for national development efforts while preparing them for future leadership roles.
